About us
Welcome to Big Al's House of Dawg, a friendly, family-run grooming parlour in the heart of Prestonpans. We believe every dog deserves to look great and feel even better.
Our story
What started with a love of dogs and a pair of clippers has grown into a parlour where tails wag the moment our clients walk through the door. We keep things relaxed: no rushing, no stress, and plenty of treats along the way.
How we groom
Every dog is different, so every visit starts with a chat about your pet's coat, habits and any worries you have. We work one dog at a time, take breaks when they need them, and take extra care with nervous, elderly or first-time visitors.
Why choose us
- Gentle, patient handling for dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Quality, dog-friendly shampoos and products
- Open every day, 12pm – 8pm, to fit around your schedule
